Many of us are taking stock of of our lives and there are lots of 'I wish I would have' statements floating in our minds. The things we've done, the beliefs we hold and where we want our life to go next. To help with that, I wanted to share this exercise. It's designed to help you evaluate your life by asking a few thought-provoking questions.
Imagine that you've come to the end of your life. As you look back...
What are you most proud of?
What are you least proud of?
What do you wish you would have spent more time on?
What do you wish you would have spent less time on?
How would the people closest to you describe you?
What would your last wish be?
These are just a few examples and I'm sure you can come up with others that resonate with you. Do any of your answers make you want to make changes today? Are there areas of your life that you could focus on to result in different answers?
What has happened in your past cannot be changed and what will happen in your future is yet unwritten. What you have is now, this moment. What will you do it it?
