The Person, Not the Presentation

Polish earns attention. Being real earns trust.

There is a kind of leader everyone admires and almost nobody knows. Always composed. Always prepared. Never caught in the middle of a thought. It looks like strength, and in some ways it is.

But trust does not grow from the finished version of you. It grows from the moments people see you think, figure it out, and steady yourself. Those moments tell them you are a real person they can bring real problems to.

You do not have to lower your standards to do this. You only have to let people see a little more of the work before it is done.

Let them meet the person, not just the presentation. That is who they will follow.
